SE Cyber Resilience Centre

The National Police Chiefs Council under the National Cybercrime Programme has secured funding from the Home Office to establish a network of Cyber Resilience Centres (CRC) across England and Wales to provide support and affordable Cyber Security services to businesses and organisations across the Country.

By the 1st April 2021, every region in England and Wales will have a dedicated Cyber Resilience Centre working in partnership with the commercial sector and academia to provide businesses and organisations with affordable cyber security services and consultancy to grow and strengthen their resilience to online crime and cyber- attacks

The South East Cyber Resilience Centre (SECRC) is the 5th of these Centres having launched in September 2020.

A not-for-profit organisation the SECRC is working with leading law enforcement, industry, and academic experts to help businesses and organisation across the region to take simple steps to protect their themselves from unscrupulous cyber criminals

How can the SECRC help your business and its supply chain

Many larger businesses retain their resources around such areas as Finance, Marketing, IT and crucially a Chief Information Security Manager (CISO) to ensure their information assets and technologies are adequately protected.

However, many small to medium sized businesses (SME's) either don't have the budget or awareness to ensure they and their customers are protected on line

Working with the Police forces of Thames Valley, Sussex, Surrey, and Hampshire the South East Cyber Resilience Centre provides access to the latest local as well as national information on emerging cyber threats, criminal trends, best practice for cyber resilience and new technology to provide you with timely advice to prepare and protect your business, staff and clients from cyber criminals.

If you would like to find out more about the South East Cyber Resilience Centre, our memberships options or Cyber Security services please visit www.secrc.co.uk/services or email the SECRC via or find us on Twitter and LinkedIn @southeastcrc |  crc-south-east
