Get Inspired comes to Basingstoke

Basingstoke Consortium is bringing the hugely successful event ‘Get Inspired’ to Basingstoke for the first time on 29th January 2019 at the Apollo Hotel.

It is an opportunity for businesses and organisations to showcase job roles in their industry with an interactive activity to inspire young people.

Activities at other Get Inspired events have included creating a motorised paper plane; practicing their filming skills; and curl and setting hair on mannequins.

Get Inspired takes place in Southampton, Portsmouth, Basingstoke and the New Forest, attracting 1000’s of young people and 100’s businesses.

The event educates young people about the different careers available to them on their doorstep and the career pathways available to them.

It gives businesses an opportunity to develop their pipeline of talent, raise their brand awareness and support the local economy.

It is free for businesses and organisations to attend.
