An entrepreneurial couple based in Hampshire spotted a gap in the market for City enthusiasts and with the help of a Start Up Loan have been able to launch the perfect solution, Go On Go Out.
Si Bunting and Ruth Eades came up with the idea after struggling to find both events to attend whilst on holiday in Madrid last year and fun new things to do in their hometown of Portsmouth.
Giving Portsmouth city-goers the complete online guide to entertainment, cultural and artistic events, Go On Go Out provides details about live music and club nights, comedy, theatre, family attractions and everything in between!
Initially, the pair set-up a Facebook group to share events in the Portsmouth area and the concept snowballed from there.
After struggling to secure finance to fund their start-up, Si and Ruth approached the Let's Do Business Group for a Start Up Loan and their application for £9,500 each was approved.
Simon explained:

With plans to grow throughout the UK, significantly increase their audience and develop new features the future of this start-up looks very bright.
