What support?

A new innovation service to enable highly innovative SMEs to gain easy access to the knowledge exchange assets of universities (in particular the EM3 and local area’s universities), public sector research establishments and the private sector research community. 

• A new innovation service to enable highly innovative SMEs to gain easy access to the knowledge exchange assets of universities (in particular the EM3 and local area’s universities), public sector research establishments and the private sector research community. 
• It will be supported by a new SME innovation grant programme and more innovation support capacity.
• It will increase the amount of research and innovation activities conducted by SMEs enabling them to bring new products and services to market and enable SMEs to gain access to research facilities that would normally not be open to them.
