Green Homes Grant skills training competition
The £6.9m GHG Skills training competition was launched yesterday with a deadline of 14th October 2020 – this is for training providers to deliver courses leading to PAS 2030, Trustmark and/or MCS certification with a maximum of £1m for each training project.

Training delivery – Nov/Dec 2020 to 31st March 2021
The aim of the programme is to support the energy efficiency and low carbon heating supply chains to deliver works under the Green Home Grant scheme.
Work Package 1 – retrofit assessor and retrofit coordinator, 2,000 training packages delivered to individuals and 100 companies assisted in gaining PAS 2030/Trustmark and knowledge of whole house retrofit
Work Package 2 – Insultation fabric measures , 1,000 training packages delivered to individuals and 100 companies assisted in gaining PAS 2030/Trustmark and knowledge of whole house retrofit
Work Package 3 - Non insultation fabric measures, 1,000 training packages delivered to individuals and 50 companies assisted in gaining PAS 2030/Trustmark and knowledge of whole house retrofit
Work Package 4 – heat pumps and solar thermal, 1,000 training packages delivered to individuals and 50 companies assisted in gaining PAS 2030/Trustmark and knowledge of whole house retrofit
Work Package 5 – heating and hot water controls, 1,000 training packages delivered to individuals and 50 companies assisted in gaining PAS 2030/Trustmark and knowledge of whole house retrofit
