The impact of Covid 19 has taken an unsurprising downfall. In 2019/20 393,400 apprentices were recruited and in 2020/21 there was a drop to 322,600 apprentices, a drop of 18%. In 2020/21 the stats are at 161,900, this is still down but with the employer incentives it is hoped that this will increase and more vacancies are becoming available.
Our panel includes:
ALPS Partnership Ltd (ALPS) represents a community of training providers that specialise in apprenticeships and work-based learning in Surrey.
Jack Hodgkins, Apprenticeship and Skills Hub Advisor, Hampshire County Council. Jack will cover the work being done to support SMEs to develop their workforce including funding opportunities and incentives businesses can take advantage of around Apprenticeships and Skills.
