Test Valley Borough Council & Enterprise M3 Growth Hub Team Up to Support Local Businesses
Working in close partnership with Test Valley Borough Council, the Enterprise M3 Growth Hub are a Government funded business support organisation which has been created to support businesses and drive the economy of the area forward. Their support covers the whole of Test Valley, as the rest of the corridor of the M3 motorway. The partnership between the two organisations has already provided support to countless businesses across Test Valley, and to further that this Spring, two full days of support for local businesses are being facilitated. Councillor David Drew, Thames Valley Borough Council's Economic Development and Tourism Portfolio Holder said;
"Test Valley Borough Council is very pleased to be organising this event which is looking at an issue of vital importance to new and small businesses. The council does a lot to support small businesses, and making sure their customers settle invoices promptly is a key element to running any successful business."
- Councillor David Drew, Economic Development and Tourism Portfolio Holder
The first clinic day took place on the 4th June at Test Valley Borough Council's offices, with the next clinic taking place on the 4th July at Crosfield Hall in Romsey.
The successful clinic day was facilitated by the Enterprise M3 Growth Hub's Growth Champion, Paul Scott. He provided one-to-one advice and mentoring sessions, covering individual issues for businesses whilst offering a fresh perspective for business owners on their business growth. One attendee said of the clinics;
"I would like to say a big thank you to you for your valuable time this week.
I was really appreciative of the free time you gave me and found the advice you provided was very useful. It has made me focus on the things which I need to work on and has given me fresh ideas for the future.
Not everything in life is free, but your Growth Hub is and I will be recommending you to other businesses in the future."
- Mark Williams, Attendee of the Andover Clinic
