Growth Hub Client named Start Up of the Year
Growth Hub client CircuitWorx have been announced winner of the 'Start-Up Of The Year' award at the prestigious British Engineering Excellence Awards.
"For nearly ten years the British Engineering Excellence Awards have been the benchmark for great British engineering design and set the standard to which many aspire. Every entry is scrutinised and assessed in great detail before the winners are decided," said Eric Wilkinson, chairman of the judging panel and CEO at Cambridge Consultants. "Once again, this year's entries are exceptionally diverse, and it has been a pleasure to review and assess them and pare them down to the shortlist. From innovative Start-Ups and enthusiastic Young Design Engineers to inspiring Engineering Ambassadors and cutting-edge New Products, the strength of the shortlisted entries demonstrates all that is great about British design engineering."
Co-founders and company directors, Carl Matthews and Rob Steel, received the award at the annual London gala luncheon at the County Hall in London last week. The company was recognised for its business growth, quality of engineering and design and innovation.
Carl says "We're delighted to have been recognised in this way at a national awards ceremony, it's great reflection of the hard work everyone in our team puts in, and is demonstrative of our ongoing commitment to delivering great results for both our clients and our employees. In expanding the company we have been careful to maintain our original business ethos and culture: our primary aim is not to maximise profiles for shareholders but rather make CircuitWorx an enjoyable, interesting, satisfying and responsible place to work. We do not ‘micro-manage' our staff, but we do respect their intelligence and trust them to do their job well, supporting each other as a team to deliver quality work to our clients. We're so proud of how far we've come!"
