Enterprise M3 Apprenticeship Ambassador Network
Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership and the Skills Funding Agency are working with the Association of Learning Providers for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight and Surrey to develop and grow the new local Apprenticeship Ambassadors Network (AAN).
The AAN is an employer group who use their experience, knowledge and commitment to apprenticeships to proactively promote and introduce other businesses to apprenticeships. Their promotional activities may be at events or workshops where they have an opportunity to speak to others about their positive experience of Apprenticeships.
The current employer ambassadors have significantly contributed to the apprenticeship agenda. This has included:
- Supporting and influencing their Local Enterprise Partnerships on apprenticeships and traineeships
- Using their networks and contacts to spearhead the drive to engage new employers in their area or sector,
- PR opportunities for their business by being the face of apprenticeships locally (media, events, case-studies, VIP/ministerial visits)
- Lending the weight of their brand to apprenticeships by association.
The AAN are a team and as such have opportunities to come together to share experiences and good practice.
There are opportunities for AAN members to become more involved in Enterprise M3's wider remit for economic growth with consultations, events and networking.
